Mini Review: Aritzia Wilfred Lyocell Trousers

Living in Vancouver, I have had the liberty of Aritzia's galore, but I've never actually purchased any clothing items from the stores themselves as the prices are too steep for my university student budget. When I saw these Wilfred trousers on sale, I couldn't resist. I snatched them up for $84 (after HST), and haven't stopped wearing them since. The cut of these works for when I'm in the office, or when I'm off at school, one of my most beloved purchases as of late (asides from my duffle coat and my camera lens).

(Duffle Coat; ASOS, Cardigan; Forever21, Double Placket Blouse; H&M, Lyocell Trousers; Wilfred, Studded Flats; Old Navy)

If you are considering hopping over to your local Aritzia to pick these up, be warned that they fit huge, I definitely could have gone to a 00, but I stuck with a 0 for I liked the versatility I had with being able to wear them as high-waisted and mid-waisted(?). Other than that, the lyocell material saves me from ironing (which I hardly have time for anyway), plus it feels like I'm in pj's.

Now that it's back to school for us university/college students, I suspect you'll be seeing these for weeks on end.

  1. I absolutely love those pants on you! I'm back to school myself, so depressing, especially when you leave and come back in darkness!

I really like the nautical theme you got going on!

loving the toggle paired with the simple dress shirt and trousers, sometimes less is more and you really drove home that point.

  4. Loving you in this outfit - especially that coat! I'm flying over and stealing it from you. You got such a great deal on those trousers too - can't wait to see how else you wear them! :)

Back to school - kill me now. I still have a few more days but my professors are already emailing me about books and such. Alas! Time to get back to work, haha.

  9. What's kinda depressing is that even now that I'm working, I still find Aritzia expensive!

  10. Hey, how are you washing your pants?

I just bought the Wilfred trousers and when I washed them they lost all of the awesome silkiness that I had bought them for!? :(

Thinking I'll take them to the dry cleaners and see if they can get them back to normal.

  11. Micheal Cretu [from] Enigma, Vangelis, Brian Eno, Hans Zimmer, Jean-Michel Jarre, just
to name a few. But I want to run a business because I want to achieve certain things, even if I sometimes lose money on gigs.
Have you ever noticed how whenever there's a tragic event like the recent bridge collapse in Minnesota that the various news channels manage to conjure up a theme song for each particular incident.
